A sudden storm this evening dumped a huge amount of water in a hurry, causing the creek through our back yard to run nice and fast. The waterfall is flowing faster than I've ever seen before, and this is less than 15 minutes after the storm started.

You can see how much rain was coming down by comparing the first two photos, taken only a few minutes apart.

And yes, it's very noisy when this much water is flowing.
